Bruce Wood Dance Project will present Journeys. Guests will traverse three distinct realms on this compelling mixed bill. Featured are two Dallas premieres from Bruce Wood’s stellar repertoire, and an enthralling world premiere made possible in part by the TACA Donna Wilhelm New Works Fund.
Journeys promises to be a tour de force of dance and music. Chasing Home, a world premiere made possible in part by the TACA Donna Wilhelm New Works Fund, brings together New York composer Joseph Thalken and BWDP artistic associate Albert Drake III to create a new work about the refugee experience. Thalken will create an original score and conduct the Dallas Chamber Symphony for this performance.
