You Will See Why This Festival Always Draws a Crowd on Saturday

Travel back in time to the 14th century on Saturday, January 5th! That is when University Christian Church of Fort Worth celebrates its 43rd Annual Boar’s Head and Yule Log Festival. Learn why this is one of Fort Worth’s favorite winter festivals when you check it out this weekend!

There’s never a dull moment in this fast-moving production made possible by the commitment of over 300 cast members, musicians and technical crew. There are companies of lords and ladies, sprites and dancers who all come to guide us to a live manger scene.

This celebration of good over evil began as a holiday tradition in the grand manor houses of England and was brought to America during Colonial days. The BHYLF is a wonderful way to celebrate Epiphany and ring in the New Year. Beautiful music, costumes and pageantry make the festival a unique experience you don’t want to miss!

Performances are at 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. Limited reserved seating will be on sale for 15 dollars. As always, there are hundreds of free seats available.

Even though Oxford at Lake Worth Apartments in Fort Worth, Texas provides you with all of the comfort, convenience, and entertainment you could possibly desire, we encourage our residents to venture outside of our apartment community and explore all that the city has to offer!
