Enjoy an evening of classical music as the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra presents a tryptic of masterworks from history’s most celebrated composers for a very special performance at Bass Performance Hall.
The highlight of the evening will feature a captivating rendition of Pictures at an Exhibition, a suite of ten pieces composed for the piano by Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky. The suite is Mussorgsky's most famous piano composition and has become a showpiece for virtuoso pianists, and Music Director Miguel Harth-Bedoya brings this classic to life. Sharing the stage with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra will be Cellist Raphaela Gromes, who will mark her U.S. debut with a beautiful performance of Schumann’s sublime and enigmatic "Cello Concerto." The concert will open with the magical romance of Schubert’s Overture, making for a whimsical start to a breathtaking night of musical talent. With such an incredible program, you won’t want to miss this special concert at the Bass Performance Hall!
