On July 20th, Sam Smith comes to Dallas in support of his new album, The Thrill of It All.
The English singer-songwriter rose to fame in October 2012 when he was featured on Disclosure's breakthrough single "Latch". He released his debut studio album, In the Lonely Hour, in May 2014 on Capitol Records UK. The album's third single, "Stay with Me", was an international success, reaching number one in the UK and number two on the US Billboard Hot 100, while the fourth single "I'm Not the Only One" reached the top five in both countries. He made his United States debut on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, followed by a performance on Saturday Night Live in March 2014.
In February 2015, Smith won four Grammys for his musical accomplishments. Later that year, he won two Brit Awards and three Billboard Music Awards. At only 26 years of age, Smith’s musical achievements have led him to be mentioned twice in the Guinness World Records.
