The Museum of Street Culture Makes its Debut with a Special Sunday Event

Encore Park’s Museum of Street Culture, a museum in the making for the last five years, invites you to attend its debut! Founded by Dallas-based writer, photographer, and filmmaker Alan Govenar and designed in part by French museographer Adrien Gardère, this groundbreaking museum will open with a 12-month phased exhibition entitled “Looking for Home: A Yearlong Focus on the Work of Mary Ellen Mark.”

The exhibition will present Mark’s work in an unprecedented fashion, with installations both outside on the street and inside some of the spaces the museum calls home: The Stewpot and Encore Park’s 508 Park, 508 Amphitheater, and Community Garden. To mark this grand opening, the event will feature complimentary lunch refreshments, a special guided tour through the exhibit, and entertaining performances by the Lone Star Circus performers and local buskers. Don’t miss this groundbreaking community event!

At Oxford at Lake Worth Apartments in Fort Worth, Texas, we believe it’s important to integrate yourself into the community, which is why we suggest attending this event. Meeting new people, having unfamiliar experiences, and joining neighborhood activities is the key to an exceptional lifestyle.
